Epic day hour day secures a Stag

Pengy and myself decided to go have a look for a deer in the rain soaked nelson bush today. After another rainy start the weather broke by the time we got to the block,Pengy went one way, while i climbed high on a long mission.
Spotted a couple of fallow but they were too quick for me. Got thrid time lucky thou when i spotted a stag looking at me while i was checking out his wallow.Couple or so shots later, a 250m chase downhill(detailed story on dark side)and secured a eight poiner.
Biggest shitty mission ever to get out with the meat. Ten hours since i started later fell out to the truck knacked with Pengy waiting for me but was worth the effort

Good shit. You shoulda put Pengy on a lead rope and tied the deer to his back. He would have waddled it out in no time.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
