Vern Wilson - Hoon Hunter is a pretty good read I thought, not too serious with hunting and humor combined.
With few regrets by Dave richardson, a relatively new out book but by far the best I've read for a while
@sore head stoat I’m sure I’ve got Brian convoys number somewhere so I’ll have a look for you later today
I don’t have his number but his email is threelads@xtra.co.nz
Another of the old genuine authors was Ken Cuthbertson. Although I wasn't into pig hunting at that stage I could relate to his stories as I hunted in some of the same places in the Wanganui back country.
Two Dogs And A Rifle sells for excrutiating dollars.
There is a book coming out about Frank Erceg, was a legend back in the early meat hunting days and one of the first killed in helicopter venison work
You go to a national / public library....some have hunting books some don't?
Perhaps some of these older books have been made into e books. Is there a complete data base out there.
Found this in the library the other day, haven't started reading it yet tough.
