    Fallow back finally

    Hi all,
Just picked up my fallow head from the taxi yesterday and am absolutely wrapped. I'll write up a story over the next couple of days when I get a chance. Here are some pics to keep a bit of interest sparked until then.

I saw four adult bucks and a cople of spikers in soft antler sitting under that same tree 2 nights ago Stu. Will let them harden off and then see how they have developed. I have never been a trophy hunter though.

Its the only deer head I hanker after, they're a head that can fit in a normal size room and not look completely out of place.
Uncle has 3 in the office, smallest one is 206DS.
Mind you he's had 70yrs to get them

Too true, they never get big here because everyone shoots them when they're small in the fear that if they leave them to grow someone else will shoot it haha hunters hey!

Mate whos a hunting guide and deer farmer aged him at 8-9 years from the jaw so i was double wrapped! I'm under no illusion of how lucky I was to get him and don't expect to ever see one that big again let alone shoot one!

Wow, what a beautiful head. The white coat makes it. Well done.

Is there a story to the hunt which you would care to share?
