    Fallow and some Thar

Thought you might all enjoy some photos from the past two weeks of a few outings.

Took my youngest son for a wonder looking for some fallow and while we didn't see alot we came across this young fella which was left to grow into something bigger.

    Then went thar hunting.

Eventually came across this fella which my mate couldn't negiotiate a steep scree slope to by pass so i carried on getting closer. I was tempted to shoot the Bull but felt guilty if I had shot him as it was for my mate.

Curious to know what your thoughts are on his size?

Another Bull but left to get bigger

    Another wonder for Fallow.

Curious to know whether that is a third antler in the middle of the buck in the first photo (or is it something in the background)? - Would be a hell of an interesting head if it's a third antler.....

....Definitely relieved for the buck concerned - a horn in the middle of your head cannot be comfortable

Dunno how big the bull would go but looks pretty decent to me. Nice photos.

Pretty old to have bases that solid but hard to tell if tips are broomed off or just not clear in the photos. I'd say 11.5-12.5 if average tips. Not massive bases like you get on a 13+

Great set of pics, the birds my favorites, had a rifleman come and sit on my barrel and obscure the scope when I was waiting for a stag to come out of the crown fern, when I was a young fella hunting in the Catlins - it was so cool I sat as still as I could so he stayed, your bird pics reminded me
