    Post Filling the Freezer

    Had a week off so a mate I headed off for 4 days hunting, got to do my two fave activities together, Jetboating and hunting.

    Saw a few, let a couple go, and shot 3 to fill our freezers up, even got a feral cat, a goat and mate missed a fat pig. Only problem hunting this time of the year is getting to bed at midnight and then dragging yourself out of bed at 4:30am again

    Nice being able to carry the whole animal back to the transport

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    good stuff.....my freezer is getting low too. must get around to fixing that. is there any sign of old injury on the spiker??? plenty of deer around kaikoura have uneven antlers like that.

    @Micky Duck no it didn’t look like he had an injury, thought he was a spiker when I first saw him.
