first blood for the new rifle

my 3am start paid off, by 5am i was stalking my way up along a ridge top, i spied a stag mooching his way along a clearing on the opposite face of a big slip, with a tree as my rest(not so helpful in a gale norwester) a quick shot was taken and down he tumbled. he was in bloody good nick, one of the fattest reds iv seen in a while. with the pack full with plenty of venny for the bbq i was back at the ute by 9am. i love summer hunting.

mighty fine hunting there mate. Get an Avanti no.10 hand mincer off trademe, you will be surprised how well a non powered mincer will chomp through a large amount of meat.

Nice rifle as well, it looks familiar
