    First Chamois Hunt

After 12 months of anticipation since my last trip to the South Island where I shot my first Tahr the day finally came for my first Chamois hunt on the West Coast. It was a pretty awesome adventure and I wish I could spend more time down here hunting. Here’s the video of the mission. I hope you enjoy. Cheers, Dylan.

Cool video. Thanks for taking the time to film and show us. Fun critters to hunt. Congrats on your first chamois.

@stagstalker looks like a nice spot once you got up there to the tops. petty about the weather but least you got to see couple animals. I'd be selling that pack after that hunt as well and down sizing

Typical Westcoast, clagg, wet, steep and an unpredictable chamois popping up when you least expect it! Well done

    Gday-
im just 3 minutes in to Your video, I just got out of th bush myself for 7 days. That part about being in the Tent/ tarp all night in the Rain doesnt excite me much- i avoided it by descending, im keen too see how you get on for the rrest of the video!

    5 hours uphill!! faaark mate-

Real interested to note that some of the stuff you talk about is so relevant to things i talk and thought of while prepping myself, alot of similiarity- il shutup an watch the rest of the Video
