yes and no. with the expensive broad heads they can always be used again, the cheap ones get pretty stuffed blades after hitting a bit of bone so imo arent suitable for deer sized critters after the first one, my plan is to use my fresh broad heads on deer then down grade to goats then hares/rabbits/cow shit.
Sure as hell cant use them again when they get lost in the grass!! :oh noes:
My current arrow + broad head combo only costs around the $18-$20 mark

I use lumenoks on my deer hunting arrows, I used one on that fallow that I shot and it was awesome to watch the trajectory of the arrow and see the point of impact. In my opinion rage broadheads are the best and one of the most expensive but you can only fire them once and then you have to replace the blades and the o-rings. The actual head stays fine though.
My arrow broadhead combo for deer is up around that $50 at the moment but a lot less for my varmint stuff as I just use normal nocks and $3.50 fixed 2 blade rubbish - actually works really well though.
