    First stag with Zach

    Hi guys.

Will keep this brief, but had a choice hunt on Sunday with the new dog I have been training up and just started Hunting over this year.
Definitely you can teach an old dog new tricks! Zach was 8 when I first got hold of him, and is a pleasure to train and work with. There really is something quite cool Hunting over a steady, calm yet driven dog that works with a bit of class and finess.
Will only get a few years out of this dude but will make the most of it before Ceek takes over. Really cool Hunting overa heading dog. Highly recommended it.
    Cheers

Like the heavy pearling on the timber
How much did Zach play in finding or stalking the stag?

Nice going, it's a buzz watching a dog stalking in on a deer.

Sure is. Not sure why but it is a side of Hunting that really fascinates me and I get a real buzz from it. Cheers

Great result for you and the dog, not a bad stag as well.
