So Im a shit story teller so Ill keep the words to a minimum! Anyway we decided to head down to Mt Cook on Monday evening to look for a Tahr, the weather was looking good on the drive down.

But it started to close in a bit by the time we hit the top of the valley.

We managed to see a few small mobs around the place and one larger mob up the far end of the valley. We got onto one with a couple of nannies in tow and shot it from 550 yards.

Not the best bull in the world but its good to see a few numbers about following last years cull.
