It has been a very busy last few days, I have been doing so much diving/spearfishing its just getting obscene. The freezer is well stocked up and family are eating well. I have definitely been making the most of this good weather with incredible vis and flat water.
Despite the heat (which I cant stand) I did get out again and nailed a young hind. The kids have been on at me to make their favourite veni/cheese and onion sausages, so I made a batch this morning from the last stag I shot that was bagged up into 7.5kg batches in the freezer. There is something very satisfying about stringing sausages together.
I bought a new toy, I did consider a 300 blackout but after a very brief conversation with Craigc I went for a 223 which I haven't gotten around to sighting in just yet (watch this space) it will take a bit of getting used to again as I have used single shots for a few years now, but I am sure that it wont take long. It Will be nice with the 10 shot mag to bomb up some goats. The kids are excited to shoot it as well.
