GH Strip 2-9th March

Well after some PM's on both forums we met at Helisika's hangar on Sunday morning....handshakes all around and we were off.
The hut was set up, bunks chosen, and maps consulted.

a huge thanks to the guys that made it happen......I left 2.3kg on the hill, and took 15 kgs of veni to the homekill guy this morning....roll on April and May!!!

Not this time, but might use it in the next block up, beginning of April.......then back to GH Strip beginning of May.

Both 6's, two DOC guys came through on a pellet count to ascertain numbers, and said the stripped one was probably 6-7 years old. ........

If I'm not mistaken that is when they're in their prime so I don't think those guys would've gone 8 at any time. Good stuff man, I hope I get a sika stag this roar - it'll be my first time hunting them in the rut :thumbsup:
