That will be great if they do.
Grandads make great packhorses and cooks.

Well what can I say other than what a fantastic time spent with your grandson. Well done both of you and some great shooting by you both. In the current climate in this country and the way things are going with this government these sort of life building experiences are being slowly eroded away. Let's hope these people who are trying to destroy our way of life and chosen sport don't succeed.

What awesome memories to create. My step dad would have just turned 71 and was an avid hunter (and quite likeness to you...maybe it's the glasses), and had he not passed at 63 I know he would be taking my son out too. I missed the chance to learn from him, but look forward to my son & I learning together. I'm sure your grandson will cherish these memories.

Hah @turtle . I can remember once my 2 lads coming in from an early start helping me at shearing time. They were about 14-15. And they had a cook up for breakfast. They cleaned up a whole loin of hogged chops. The house was full of fat smoke and the kitchen looked like a disaster zone.
