    Hinds dropping in Ruahines

Walked into a spot in the Ruahines i mostly hunt during the roar, managed to drop a hind from the 4 i seen , she had a big slinky in her so probably close to dropping her fawn. I don't shoot as many hinds as i should especially during the roar so good to take at least one out of the area that doesn't get much pressure, only silly buggers like me walk in there!!

She was only 240 yds from me across the gulley but took a bit to find her in the thick scrub once i was over there, so quite relieved when i found her. Phew!!

Love your work 30late. Looks very much like a spot I go to on the odd day, maybe I'm one of those silly buggers too.

Both the photos are showing relatively flat ground, certainly no evidence of 45° slopes pictured, so given this is apparently in the Ruahines, I really do have to ask:
Where is the cause for complaint?

Farmed hinds have already dropped over the last 3 weeks.
