    Hunters first roar Hunt.

Went for a quick hunt down dannevirke this morning with Hunter and Phil, managed to tip this not bad buy Ruahine standards stag over with the Hunter in the roar was bloody epic for him to experience it.
11 points, the 12th had broken off,
While waiting for @7mmsaum to work me a mint load I grabbed a packet of sako 150gr ammo to try in the 308, wasn't expecting much from the old lead heads but the shot pretty mint, first shot was fowler from a clean barrel other 3 made 1 big hole.
    Cheers for the company @Philipo

I have found all sako factory ammo to shoot incredibly well also pretty consistent velocities too.
I have tried 270win (mod 70), 308win (lupo and mk v), 30 06 (lupo), and 7mm rem mag (fierce) all have shot sub moa and most are clover leaf or better.
Sako definitely make good factory ammo....even the old lead heads

Nice write up @BRADS thanks for sharing

Fuk yes what a cracker way to finish a great weekend

We had a day of shooting paper n steel yesterday & then to knock this fulla over this morning was mint, I'm wrapped that Dunc got a nice head off the station before it goes into new hands & was very cool that Hunter was there to enjoy the day with his dad.

That factory ammo was accurate alrighty, that group was shot at 125 yards & three different shooters got very similar results.

PS - Not to blow my own trumpet but fuk I'm a great guide, Mr Staggo did exactly what I said he would, I might start hiring out my services, $4000 a day but you do ya own butchery, Philipo doesn't like getting covered in blood hahahahaha

Anyone that's seen Phil on a knife doesn't want him anywhere near meat you intend on eating.
