    Oh that's a sweet mission. Cheers for the story. I've spent a little time up the Waipawa but never gone over the top. The Kauwhatau is an area Ive always wanted to explore more and I think you've given me the encouragement. I'll take my modern gear though. KK is James?

    Yep @kiwijames , KK is James. Would recommend going over the top for sure, i think that valley would be epic roar or spring hunting if you were ok with covering a bit of ground

    Amazing country for sure - not too much in the way of good heads coming out of that part of the Ruahines; but it's a fantastic area to test the legs and fortitude.
