Artistic antlers there,nice animals.Well done.
Africa 100% gets under your skin. It's my third trip there but first time hunting. At this stage the plan is Namibia in 2024.
It really is something more kiwis should do. Great fun, challenging hunts, good people and it's pretty affordable really.
Love the bushbuck!
Yes you did go hunting, well done @Tim. I think you also may have won the prize for most understated post of the year so far!
Ya lucky bugga.
Very, very cool!
Very cool, I like that Kudu. Did you take a rifle or borrow one over there?
@stug when are we going?
Kudu just "do it" for me...always have....one day maybe.
@outdoorlad it’s on the list, but a little way down at the moment.
Nice one! Looks like nice hill country you were hunting. What area is it?
Farken cool and well done!!:thumbsup::cool:
When you say costs are reasonable how much are we talking?
My hunt, including flights could be done for 12-13k at recent exchange rates depending on if you just went for that, additional animals and being a tourist before or after adds costs.
I went with KMG Hunting Safaris. Marius is fantastic and can tailor a hunt anywhere in Africa. Nick was my PH and he was excellent. https://huntsafaris.co.za/wp/
Thats a good price! Cheaper than most guided hunts in Asia and USA.
Awesome mate
We done, that tiger fish has got a good set of teeth on it.
Nice One Tim! I know a hut that could do with some euro mounts..
Possibly, I'd have preferred my 300wsm, but I know Nick has taken a number of eland with the Musgrave.
He can go get his own!
