    Into the Ruahines

I’ve just got back from a Hutt Valley Deerstalkers trip into the Ruahines, the purpose of the trip was to show that recreational hunters can contribute to game management in high population areas. Me and my mate saw over 50 deer in the time we were in the hills, we managed to knock ten over and do our bit for game management.

I’ve put together a video of the trip.

    I hope the link works.

Tried everything. Mutton flaps. Mitimix. Dewormed etc

Seems to be a young Visla thing.

Its a bugger that she won't put on weight. Her skin and coat though are still soft and supple.

Do you hear the defensive Father thing going on here??

No shortage up there eh. Good work shooting ten, not easy country to get around closer to the main range. Good proof for doc to open a few more heli sites up in time.
