Thread: Kaimais, Kaimanawas, & Tongariro National Park

Thought I'd share a few pics that have been on my camera in the last few months, no deer just scenic ones:

Kaimais: This roar turned out to be a challenging one with only two stags seen, and one missed shot. Next year hopefully I'll be more successful.











Kaimanawas: Only two trips this year, but always very enjoyable. Got a Sika stag heehaw calling which put a smile on my dial:





Tongariro National Park last weekend: Trout fish was in order first while it was still snowing (Personal best brown at 2.5kg). Then when the snow had stopped it was time to get the toes cold in some white stuff. Must have just missed intercepting these deer.













But at least I can get some roaches for the pot
