    Lock down hunt.

Well this morning about 6am not far from where I was sleeping,i could hear the larch and pine getting thrashed about,Blimey that sounds like a serius beast. So got the thermos monoculars out, sure enough about 4 mtrs away there he was, glowed up like a xmas tree.No time for the 308,so I got my hand gun out,had about 15rds in it.Got closer to the big boy and fired. No movement after that.I watched for a while and no more movement was seen.
Later on had a look with torch there was a mouse lying on the ceiling tile, under ceiling joists.Cleanly shot with my brading gun.Managed to reach in there with a fishing rod and hook him out.One less mouse in the house.
Guess it was an exciting hunt inside the lock down.

More details man, more details. What were you wearing, was the wind in your face as you were stalking in, how many grains was the projectile and what speed was it doing? And as 300calman says, we need pics. Ha ha ha ha.

What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

If you don't know the difference between dole and doll, you might need some budgeting advice

Woke this morning to find only a small rabbit's tail in the lounge. The Maine Coon had had a snack during the night.

On a more serious note, I woke up at 6 this morning with a wicked hangover, to hear the neighbour mowing his lawn. Bastard! I was going to get up and have a go at him, but I thought, nah, you can just mow around me ya prick!
