I watched the video last night, I love the raw honesty of your videos and the way you capture the pain and pleasure of hunting. That buck was earned and the head will constantly remind you of all the hard work it takes to get a good public animal. We’ll done.
Love it mate, there’s no better trophy then that. Well deserved and awesome
Enjoyed that ,well done that's why we hunt ,the unexpected ripper Buck

Good video and nice buck. I also like the video style. Much more interesting than the polished look which are two a penny these days
Yep a very honest account and good video. I was telling myself the same thing regarding fitness the other day as I too was struggling and drenched from carrying the young stag.
Yep, spot on with the fitness comment!
Cheers for watching guys and cheers for the feedback - appreciated!
I don't do too much filming on hunts these days and don't really enjoy making the videos as much as I once did, I find my videos quite plain and boring but I like to keep the 'real' aspects of the hunt and all the things we go through in the hills. So it's cool to get feedback that people enjoy certain aspects of it. I really enjoy watching other peoples hunting videos, so I like to 'give back' in some ways by providing stories of my hunts also. The videos also add to the memoir of each hunt which is a bit of a bonus!
Nice one @Mad_Fisho how was the meat off the old fella?
Very nice buck and earned the hard way, loved the video and your comments. Most good animals take a bit of sweat to get ,well done.
Fantastic head, great video too thanks!
For cramping, I started using the following product after suffering the same thing more frequently than I liked.

Since starting I hardly get cramp now when out in the bush. Also noticeably, I found I recover a lot quicker from long arduous hunts on the hot days. I take in up to 3lt already pre-mixed, then as I've gone through it I can top up with more i have in a plastic container in my pack when refilling my bottles.
It's a lower sugar electrolyte, NZ made and has some other bits in it which aid absorption and recovery above your standard poweraid/gaitorade sugar drinks.
