But seeing some of the elk and muley hunting at 11,000 ft plus etc with lightweight gear has really opened my eyes and realised how ignorant I was.....

Cameron Hanes is pretty awesome bow hunting as well - the guy is a machine and he hunts some impressive animals with a 90lb bow.
