This is a Menil....note the tail colour and lack of scutes.

Nice looking spring grass they were enjoying
@Sarvo I had stopped at a brother-in-law's place in Masterton on the way home and then bumped into a neighbour when I got out of the ute at home so by the time I got to my gate all that was left was the Fallow :) All of the Red had been given away during the 2.5 hour drive.
@Sako 75 the Fallow was doing it well but the Red was a bush dweller and wasn't in quite as a good a nick. Still ok though. Those Fallow know how to sniff out the decent feed and can hide in a handkerchief of scrub. Its getting dangerously dry over in the Wairarapa where I was (for the cockies and for fires).
What no picture of your knife, your slipping ;)
Well done Bruce.
That Fallow will be nice on the BBQ over Xmas.
Whoops, slipped up there @Shootm...

@Tahr Here’s one just for you from last weekend.
That knife looks bloody sharp Bruce but I would be worried with loosing a digit without a quillon to stop my finger or thumb running onto the blade, of course you are a few thousand animals ahead of me in experience ;)
Very Nice, the fallow should taste good, nice to see you share the animals you hunt with others, I bet they are happy to see you pull up in there driveways.
Im beginning to wonder if you actually do any work ?
