    My Boy got his first deer today

    My boy went out with a great hunter from work today and got his first deer, I'm so proud of him. He shot 2 but here is a photo of him with one of them, he is so happy and I think he will be hooked now

    They saw 30 but to get 2 was amazing on only his 3rd time out

    A big day for the young fella but will toughen him up for our next trip into the hills. He won't forget this day for a while and so glad he is hooked now. I can't wait for our next trip out

    Well done, and in about another 10 days, after it has hung and then been butchered, you will see another massive smile as you eat some for dinner.

    I don't know who's smiling the most me or the boy, both very happy and he has already had a feed on the BBQ last night

    I won't do that to him for 2 reasons I have just shot a couple myself so I have plenty and he has a bigger family than me now with 2 young children so he has more mouths to feed. We already have our next hunting trip planned so I can't wait.
