Thread: My boys first roaring red stag

My boy loves hunting and being on the farm etc so I take him out as much as I can when its easily do-able. He first encountered a roaring red at about 12m whilst on my back, last year in a pine block. He was blown away, especially as he was only 10months old. So I took him out this evening for a little walk as he follows me slowly now. I spotted a stag from a few hundy so we quietly snuck in which seemed to take an hour or so haha, as he was roaring well. Got to about 80m of him and 8 or so hinds, he lay down beside me , not saying a word the whole time. Watched him roar for a minute or so then squeezed off the 300, he was pretty unsure as we approached him but after a few moments he was himself again. Henrys first little stag.....
