Was out waitn for a deer to come out for a evening dinner.Watched a good stag at 460yds,i couldv shot him as i practice a bit of 400yds shooting at the range. But at that distance he s liable to be a wounded walking stag,il try and get closer. As i tryed to get closer i came across a young spiker trying his girl friend out.I thort theyl do for the freezer, easier to handle than a big pissed up stag.Shot them off the shooting stick at about 140yds.Havnt had a deer for 3 months, tryed hard enough even with a couple of misses. So i was pretty pleased with my self.Attachment 194060Attachment 194061I reckn she was last yrs fawn(size of a small fallow) and he was 17 months old and fat.I could be wrong tho.
You shot them while they were rooting? What's the world come to tut tut
