Yes, a day out of the box. There had been enough rain to wash out the week ends boot prints on the track and I was happy to see some deer prints. The snap was taken with my bat phone as I didn't take my camera. Pity I could have snapped a pair of Pied Tits later on. One of the advantages of being an old duffer is that you can pick your days to do things. The road end is only 50 km from our house so I go there quite a bit on weekdays. Have not seen it look quite like that before though.
