    Nice NZ hunting film

Slightly different, quite enjoyed this film, Impressed by his level of backcountry cooking

A good reminder at how much better mountain hunters the average kiwi is compared to their US counterparts.

For contrast, I took these pictures from a US company that put out a hunting film. You see point of aim, point of impact and not to mention the bullet background...
(I've merged the images from two cameras, one show where he broke the shot, one shows how I lined up the images, red ring shows where bullet impacted)
And this from a "professional" outfit, not an average joe

Already done that, he's doing trips I would have done his age if I had the opportunity. Love it!

His videos are great but I pity his knees with all the cooking paraphernalia on top of the camera gear.

Always enjoy Tasmin's video's, cos theyre just plain honest. And he does trips that are out of the norm, or the good ol' fashioned way, walk in, walk out. I've covered a fair bit of the country he films in and that young fella certainly puts in the hard yards.

Yep Tasman is a great character and does some hard yards.
Don't get me started on American's shot placement. They seem hell bent of convincing each other they should aim for the heart and the heart is somewhere near the liver of a deer and almost every video I watch the shoot is way too far back. I just don't watch American hunting videos now it seems endemic. They really should open the side of a rib cage next time they have a deer on the deck.

Its not just an american thing. One hell of alot of hunters around the world go for a behind the shoulder shot. It takes quite some convincing to get them to break bone.
