Just seen on the news there are rabbits everywhere down at Moeraki. What are you lot bloody well doing? Not shooting the buggers that's for sure.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
Yep was up there last year and would love to sit on top of the light house and pick a few off. Walk down the track to the rocks/penguins and the ground looks like its moving. Causing alot of damage
You'll have to grab your .17HMR and come down for a visit @Rushy.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

Funny that came up in the news - I've seen heaps there on the side of the road (hopping about like they do) the last few times I've been past
I was hearing that news today...too populated to shoot or poison..... lock up the dogs n cats and trap the shite out of them each night.....a few hundred leghold traps around the grassy areas (if any grass left) another few hundy connibear traps over warrens should put a hell of a dent in them quick smartly...... oh but then the homespun cardigan wearing brigade will be all ''oh its cruel to the poor wee bunnies, lets feed them 1080ed carrots instead"
Fuck all around where I am.
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
308Win One chambering to rule them all.
I've done such a good job here, he's sold the farm!
Boom, cough,cough,cough
Apart from a few pockets there are bugger all rabbits on the west coast.
They are still rabbits where they used to be but they never seem to build up.
Used to be able to go thru 150 22 rounds for a couple hours walk along some local river beds.
Not sure what is keeping them in check.
People say it is the virus repeating. If so, why doesn't it have the same effect in high population areas like Otago I wonder.

Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
wet weather kills off the wee ones in the burrows...... west coast weather should do the trick nicely.
