@Thar you need to revisit in a about 2-3 weeks & do it again. There might be a bit of noise then with so many hinds. Plus we need another yarn like that to read [emoji106]

Great yarn, although I have a query. Tawhine…I’m not familiar with. The closest I could find on Google was one vague page which mentioned ‘dense thickets of Manuka’. The next closest is Tarwhine which is an Australian fish :D
He means Tauhinu/cottonwood. "tar-winny" is an old farts name for it. https://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora/speci...-leptophyllus/
That explains it!
That is another great yarn thanks it inspires me to keep trying to heal and get off the bloody couch and get out there to build up my strength after a badly broken femur last roar (shit happens) being an old fart doesn't help either when it comes to healing up in a hurry so no roar for me this year BUGGER!
I love your dog I have the same he is 12 now and deaf as a post so he will probably be in dog heaven by the time I come right, I will miss him he has been great company in the bush and made finding shot animals a lot easier.
Good stuff Tahr. Bella looks to be in fine fettle.
