I walked in there with a young fella (who was tracking our daughter at the time) about 6-8 years ago. We shot a few roos as we walked in and after we dumped our packs at the hut we went off for a hunt. We saw several Chukur doing thier unique "thing and quite a few wallabies. The young fella then spotted a very nice Chamois buck, a fairly young one, which after a bit of a fuck up (I admit it, I missed it at about 10M) I finally dropped at fairly extreme range, close to 300M. We could see it lying down so we waited for it to "harden up" before movwing in on it. In the interim I nearly rolled off a small bluff mucking about with my binos and was saved by the young fella. For a long time we joked that he'd saved my life so he was entitled to our "first born" - unfortunately they later parted company - a bugger cause he was good fun to hunt with - bloody kids! He even carried the Chamois up the long steep.face it was on haha.
