    Photo heavy road trip

We got up at 0400 too bloody early for a road trip up to the Sika Show & to catch up with some other Forum members

Picton waiting for the Rolly Boat

Stopped off at SSRNZ to pick up a CA10 308 that had been sent there for us to deliver.

Had a look at Scotts neat little 10" 308

Nice drive further up north to deliver the CA 10 & put the first shots through it, I'm so lucky

Then I thought, it’s really cool & doesn’t recoil at all, but what about a go with something bigger ?

There was a really lightweight 375/408 Cheytac improved there so I thought why not

That was pretty cool but this steel shooting caper is really addictive so I wanted to have a go with something bigger

I'm quite a good shell holder I'm told.

Another good drive & I was there at the Sika Show, found a nice little bolt action rifle.

Then not far away I found a nice BIG bolt action rifle & its big brother

The Aussies were there in force.

So being good bugger I took a picture of one of their best friends for them.

I saw quite a few nice mounts.

    Some more nice rifles.

And some really nice Leica optics.

I even got a close look at a Driven Shooting stand.

Had some pretty excellent Venison Burgers

Then it was time to go back to base, we popped back in to Scott’s to see the progress with his new light rifles he is building

Then we were back on to the Rolly ship

I had a room to myself, nice & quite.

Just perfect for catching up with what I'd missed on the Forum.

All in all a great Road Trip
    I MISS YOU MUCKO

MH you were at the Sika show at the same time as I was but never gave me a call. You are certainly gathering a few hat tatts by the look of things.

Is it just me , or does anyone else find it a bit creepy how he has men's names tattooed all over his body ?

PS - That sheep sure is a looker , you didn't happen to get a phone number by any chance ?
