How did you find terminal performance at that range on autopsy ? much shock or fragments or minimal briuising and a hole threw?

    What was impact velocity?
I find the factory brake works bloody well really, still boots but nothing to cry about. 200's are going 3030 at muzzle. It went through but made a hell of a mess of far shoulder and brisket on exit. Fallow are light boned thin skinned buggers any projectile makes a mess so best to head/neck shoot em. I used elds on a few big reds and they certainly do the trick at any range. At that distance they were going 2050 fps

Cheers, I have never used the eld myself but have read many many times they take a few inches of penetration before expansion compared to say a amax or sst.....Would you say that is correct?

I think you should definitely give elds a burn as a hunting pill anyway

The amount of time/shots I have spent hunting/shooting in the last year no point experimenting at the moment but life is in a constant state of flux and I am sure balance will restore in the force.
