Thread: Proud Dad

My daughter has been showing some interest in shooting/hunting. I’ve had her shooting with the 22 for awhile now and she is growing in confidence. Yesterday I took her to the monthly range shoot and she shot really well. Last time we were rabbit shooting she asked if she could shoot one next time.
Well last night I got her set up behind the rifle and she whacked her first rabbit.



Followed by her second.

Awesome. Rabbit tastes just like chicken... especially with ‘coat and cook’. ;-)

Outstanding. Start 'em young and teach them well.

My daughter (now 15, going on 18) is a great shot and can't wait until she turns 16 in September so she can get her licence. Years of bunny hunting practice has taught her well. Don't underestimate the rabbit as a game animal. I hope you get many more daughter/Dad hunts.

Very nice. Even if she never shoots another thing at least she now understands the cycle of life and death and where meat comes from. That's a great grounding that too many kids are missing out on nowadays.

And she wears the same shade of pink as what @craigc does when out hunting.

Nice work, always good to them hit those milestones.

Rats taste like chicken with cook and coat, hold on doesn't matter what it is cook n coat makes it taste good.

Want be long and she will be taking the big gun of you shooting deer and you just get to watch, gut and carry
