    Proud Dad Moment

We all hope our son's won't turn out like us but secretly we admire the imitation, as the saying goes - 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery'.

Like all modern sons, my boy loves his iPhone, iPad and computer; it's quite often a struggle to get him out the door.

Yesterday actually wasn't that hard and the rewards were there...

I guess it'd be right to say he's a third generation hunter. I hope his kids enjoy hunting but won't be disappointed if they don't.

Well done @craigc . First deer with a 300RUM!, impressive. My son is still in the practicing phase, shooting hares with the .243

It is fantastic to see young fellahs getting out with their old man the way we did. Congratulations to both.

Looks like he handled it well though. You selling your 284 now you've got the RUM up and running?

    (A) Never (B) It’s still shooting the load it came with at one MOA. It’s going to have to go better than that to stay in my safe. I’ve got three more different projectiles to try. I’m guessing the 208s Amax will be the shitz, or the 210s Begers or the 195 Tiped Game Kings...
