    Quick evening hunt,Ruahines

Went for a quick evening hunt after work yesterday, left home at 6 at the car park by 6.50.
Boosted for 45min along the doc track spooking 2 on the way. Decided to cut up a side creek and hunt the top slips, sure enough I made out 2 up in the fog 200+- m away. Lined up and sacked the hind, she tumbled down to within 15 m of where I shot from. Butchery was a nightmare with her pelvis and both femurs smashed. Took what I could salvage and off home.[ATTACH]238062

Sure makes you think about your footing and the "what if I slip" when you see the carnage caused by a fall.
