    Red Stags and Fallow Bucks!

I'm currently living in the United Kingdom doing the whole cliche overseas experience thing. I'm really missing the hunting lifestyle I am used to, however, despite the majority of hunting being on private land I have managed to organise a few hunts for upcoming months once things quieten down at work.

Over the weekend I managed to sneak off to Richmond park for a few hours in the afternoon and was amazed to say the least.

Here's a few photo's of the hundreds of deer seen for a few hours walking. The reds are just starting to roar and I managed to get a bit of video of one guy getting worked up which I will upload later on.

Any ideas on what the above Fallow Buck would score on the DS system? A little curious as to what it would likely score as this was the first big buck I've seen in person.

    Cheers,
    Pop Shot

I do not necessarily agree with Normie as I think we have a lot of deer in this country with far better genetics but great photos all the same. Normie take a driver up my way just before christmas and I will show you what I mean.

When I win lotto I'm going to make my own Richmond park, no hunting.

It would be such a cool experience to be able to walk through there and see mobs of deer/stags doing there thing...

How many animals do you reckon they have there, it would have to be over a thousand?

    Cheers mate.

PM me a couple of weeks before Christmas Normie and we will organize something. The big boys in the neighborhood should be hardened off by then.

    Hi Pop shot
I have also been to Richmond park
    The place is fantastic
Richmond park is the reason my best mate learned to shoot deer with the bow.
Make sure you cut it into pieces BEFORE you try to drag it over the stone wall

From what I can find online - approximately 650 odd deer. Near enough to equal numbers of each species I believe - maybe slightly more Fallow.

As for the cast antler idea.... hmmm knife handles. Might have to take a hack saw in the park with me and do it on the low key as it might be a hard task getting them home via the train etc.
