Nice work on gathering then sharing the venison!

What was the story with the stuck projectile in the 223? Was it from the load you decided on for your boy to shoot a deer with? Would it be a worthwhile tale to put in its own thread - often good learning/tips to be had when something goes a bit wrong.

I'm in no rush for my kids to shoot a deer. I have explained to them that it needs to be in the right setting. Relaxed animal, time to set up properly etc.
