The Show Must Go On - Seven Mill Sika Safari

Well as @Tahr has stated we just spent the last five days in the Kawekas seeking the elusive Sika eight point stags, man the Duely's make it look easy!

Here's my attempt at a story, in pictures and video.

    Thats some nice weather Craig.

I've not been up there. Usually I'm deep in the bottom of a valley with the bush hobbits, although one of our roar blocks has some very large lovely tussocky parts.

Love all the pictures although on rural broadband they don't load instantly, still in the light of what else is going on in the world its nothing.

    Thanks for sharing

Great trip, your dog looked a bit cold when you were glass in the open stuff. Those eight's can be hard to get alright.

That was nice. Loved seeing the dogs, it adds so much to a trip. I have been unable to work with dogs for a few years now, it's not the same trips anymore.

Pretty much stuck to the open country, anytime we were in the bush we were mainly moving between spots. I only really hit the bush when the stags are vocal.
