    Sika Solo

I've just spent 3 days in the Kawekas' by myself.

Heard 2 x single calls and he-haw. Saw half a dozen including a close encounter with a spiker (still in the velvet) at 10 yards.
Got a bit of meat off the edge of a slip. 300 yard shot with the .270wsm.

The area I was in badly needs rain. The Sika were not coming out of the scrub much, so I had to go in after them.

Here's a mixed bag of pics:

Yeah, she still counts and of course I'm never really alone when I've got her with me. She put me onto 4 of 6 I saw.

I just want to test this bit of vid I took just on dark at 640 yards. Never used photobucket for a vid before. Click on the pic.

(Later) That doesn't look too bad. It was getting pretty late.
