    Slow morning

With the weather on the improve and being back on shift I've been out a couple of times now this month both times giving the roo's a bit of a hurry up with my new toy a .22 Terminator (.22-204) It's shooting round the .5'' or less with the 65gr GK at 3100fps and is holding .5" out to 543 meters 3 shot group just right of centre

Managed 11 roo's in the morning on my first outing with it a few weeks ago and am really impressed with it's preformance although anything inside about 140 meters with the 65gr GK tends to not show signs of being hit initially for a few seconds anyway making me think I've miss again but it's good having a heavier pill in case I run into something with 4 legs which was the case this morning.
It had been pretty quiet on the roo front, I had only shot the 1 and missed a couple before coming across a couple of pigs which turned into 3 initially 345 meters. So the roo's where forgotten and the stalk was on! Getting into 195 meters I got the camera out and took a few pics before hitting the record button and getting set up for the shot.

Dialing up 1.7moa I got settled and let rip dropping 1 on the spot. The other 2 wern't too alarmed but dissapared into the matagori. iwaited a good 5min before moving and had only gone down 5 meters to collect my brass when the other 2 came back to the same spot so i quickly got set up again dialled the same moa in and dropped a second one which kicked and slid its way down to the first. Still kicking I but a second shot into to it for insurance.
Looking across to the patch of matagori were the pigs where.

It was then a simple task of heading over and finding a couple of nice young eaters.

You'll notice the brain ooze between the eyes on the lower one from the insurance shot, very pleasing knowing all shots went where I aimed after missing a few roo's eariler
I did the butchery had a wee snack while the meat cooled off then headed back towards the truck picking up another couple of roo's on my way to end another very enjoyable morning on the hill.
I'll post up the video once its finished uploading.
