I used a suzuki mudbug when i lived on Spur rd in Pongaroa

Had no kickstart, not much clutch, even less exhaust, knobbies had no tread

    Fkin hated the thing

Its everything a motorbike shouldn't be

Carried two rousies on it to the woolshed when shearing, Clair and Belinda Jane

Cant remember how many times i pressed the pins in the old cable wool press

My uncles farm (Bill, Mervyn and Alistair Thomas) had the three kings on it, three shark tooth shaped slabs of rock.

I was there about 5 yrs

Tahr (forum member) was my neighbour

Was nice and handy to the ruahines and bloke that owned the farm reckoned the odd stag would come down for a sniff around the farm hinds in the area during the roar, not enough chamois up there for my liking though

I saw the Three Kings from a trig point of the end of the Sugar Loaf Rd I think. 1st time we drove along side Pukeruru Stn up to turn off then went left from there. I crashed my ute into the telecom post beside a one way bridge on the Mairananga (sp) Rd way back then. Unfortunately I drunk more piss than hunted up that way....more fool me.

That pic was taken quite close to my boundary.

Few of the chicken chasers lined up at the shed, difficult to get more than three or four in any one place at the same time!
