    Likewise, right animals fine for humans or dogs. Great practise for 'real' hunting, still need to similar skill set and good practise for dealing those longer shots

    It takes the same skills to hunt rabbits, hares goats or wallabys as it does for deer. Shooting bunnies at 50m with 22,is sometimes as hard as shooting bigger targets at 100. It's all stalking practice using available cover and wind direction. At the end of the day, they're the prey, and you're the predator. Their senses are better than ours, so I consider any critter bagged as earned. Wish I had access to goats
