Thread: South Island trip

First time hunting the south island for some northland boys, big country and plenty of kms to cover to get to animals. 120kms done betwenn 4 over 3 days. Seen 15-20 stags ranging from spikers thru to 10 pointers. Got a few pics and some good footage aswell that needs to be edited. Weather was good bar one day where there was fog all day so couldnt glass anything or anywhere. Came away with a 13 pointer which strolled into camp about 30m away from our fire at 5.30-6pm and a brother done some hard kms to get a nice 10pointer. Currently waiting to board ferry, heading home.
