Thread: SPRING FALLOW

I went up behind the house right on dark last night
I thought I better grab the pard NV clip on for the 308.
Got up the top and seen a couple reds in the far paddock.
By the time I got to a shooting position it was past shooting with out NV as all I could see were faint brown lumps through the binos.
Dialed In a couple of mils for 357m and could clearly identify and place my shots and that was with out the ir been on.
Longest shots so far with it and pretty impressed to be fair.
Best part, no guessing the elevation as if I had used the thermal scope set up I would have had to guess hold over.
