    Spring Grass Thieves

Today has been tough, sulking about the RWC final.. but atleast I have this to make me smile. An awesome morning yesterday with my son Hunter looking for an easy deer on the farm despite some fustrations there too.

    Good work mate.
What calibre and range on the first one?
What was the conclusion, after looking on the big screen? Shot seemed good.

Thanks mate, 440 metres with my 260. Yea i’ve watched it over and over and it looks good but if anything it maybe went high but it’s hard to tell as the low light meant the video isn’t as clear as normal

The deer lurched like a hit too. That’s the bitch with no exit wound, no blood, you’d think if it was down or wounded the dog would haven picked up something..

Such a cute age to take hunting.

I have so many fond memories from when mine were that age

One of the best videos I have watched in a while. Brings back memories for me and my young son and daughter. You making memories that will be with them for life. “Making memories” became a catch fraze we used to use. Please keep taking your son out and put the effort into him when young, you won’t regret it.

A mate does that with his 2 young sons. Getting strange comments made to his partner from the teachers when she occsionally picks up the boys from School. This is at a back country school. You wonder how far idiocy has over taken education. Nic evil. Champion.

Yeh it sucks when things go wrong but that’s hunting sometimes it just happens. At least your young fella got into the action later on.
Good times in the outdoors for the boy ,keep it up.

Good effort. Occasionally the deer gods smile on us when we least expect it.
