Sticking with the 'bullet points' !

    * Drew another block.
    * Bit different to the last one !

*Good thing about this block is it's the first week of school holidays so the boys can come.

    * Got flicked in by James.
    * First time in machine for lads so they were....Fizzing !!

    * Not much in the way of roaring action.
    * Didn't bother us at all, we were happy to nik their girlfriends.
    *Had a good snoop around.
    *Plenty of "Shrek" country.

*They let out out a few roars, both of them

*Found what the boys called a deer paddock !

    *Paddock proved productive.

*This yearling was close to being a bow deer but spooked. Silly thing ran out into the paddock. We stoped it with a "Meh". Both me and the boy at the same time. It just stoped, turned around, ears twitching. Boom .308.

*Close but no cigar with the bow. He's been within range a few times now so its just a matter of time

    * Now thats gotta be tasty,

    *Had rain...river flooded...

    * Rain turned to drizzle and we nabbed another off the paddock.

*Walked out before the big storm. Apart from the heavy pack, wet clothes and sodden boots this was the highlight without doubt. Unreal rain forest and swamp lands. Even the young fella reckoned, "I am actually really enjoying this walk out. I love the rough track"

*1102km round trip in the truck.

*6 days in the swamp lands.

*Made a heap of memories and seen some of natures cool stuff. Gotta be happy with that !!

Great trip, you don’t always need a set of antlers, the best memories forged right there, very cool.
