    A Sunday drive

My Partner & I went for a drive & a bit of causal hunting last Sunday.

We saw everything except a Deer, including Rabbits, Hares, Pig Dogs & even a wild Rooster on the way over & this silly Guy pic taken from the passenger seat of the running Hilux...

We were really looking for some Goats put found this on a Cut Over at just after 12.15 so we decided to take it home

The 120 Sierra Prohunter is only going 2750 to keep the recoil down for the Kids but they are super accurate & work extremely well.

Recovered from behind the off side shoulder at 175 yards & weighs 113 grains

Further along on our travels I spotted a Black Goat at 1960 yards, we figured out roughly how to get over to him & were surprised he was still there when we finally got there, we discovered he had friends which is pretty much standard issue for Goats so we decided they should all accompany us back home, as they are yummy.

With any luck we might get lucky again tomorrow with another of our Gentlemans hunting trips

Thanks, I shoot thousands of rounds but Melamine & paper taste pretty crap to be fair so it's nice to find time to go for the odd wee day trip to fill the freezer

Those type of low key casual hunting trips are always lots of fun too.

I normally chuck a back leg in an oven back with garlic & chilli etc, amazing to be fair

A bit of mint sauce goes fantastically (if you like it) I'm told

Bumped into these two & a smaller Nanny last Sunday, the 7-08 & my 280AI Max stuck again

Not bad horns on the old one.

It was cold & windy so we saw very little, lucky to find these Guys & I forgot to get a Pic of the Nanny before we took the back legs trying to beat the rain....
