Tahr hunt - a few photos.

Got out for a quick trip in South Canterbury on my last break from work back home, saw and shot a few tahr, not much of a story to tell but here are a couple of photos.

I'm hilariously bald-looking in that photo. Shaved my head as soon as I got home! Bull was only 11.5" whoops.

Always enjoy seeing photos from down south.

Thats a pretty hefty tripod to be carting around isn't it?

    Cheers.

Nice country, nice photo's, nice bull.

All this baldness talk.... its a genetic advancement on hairy people. We were once covered in hair and through the process of evolution we became less hairy. Thinning and balding is just progression

I heard they had to hold you back from shooting all the nannies and juvies Pete...

The red mist decended and he kept shooting and shooting... then we had to carry all the meat out...

Looks like a nice area, the bull Clay got was a good size, plenty of them in there by the looks of his photos, just not any big wall hangers.
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more
