Thread: Taking the Edge for a bush walk

Had an early start on Wednesday, with a plan set to take the rifles to work and see if we could get some veni for the X-mas BBQ.

So I decided to take the Edge for a bush walk



No not this Edge

So loaded up with a pack full of 30 bags of poison, binos, muffs, range finder, jacket, camera, smoko & assorted other shite we head off down the track, after an undisclosed amount of time we end up at a small clearing watching a couple of slips

With'in 10mins & just starting to have a snack & out comes this young velverty @ 255 yards- winde the NF up to 16 put a bead on the fuckar give it 3" of hold over & BOOMFA first blood for the Terminator

Blow the poor little bastard off his feet & he "tenderises" himself about 80 yards to the bottom of the slip, Richie ( my work mate ) give's me a big happy bro hand shake & then we fight our way down into the gully




Ended up she was sighted in slighty high, so the shot had a little to much elevation & ended up just clipping the bottom of its spine & turning it inside out, go the mighty 338






Rich was keen to carry it out whole ( he's a big unit ) so I did'nt complaine, only fuck up was that Philipo's short cut ended up being a "long farken way round"






Then I ended up carrying me bang stick & finishing the poison round, did'nt get back to the truck till lunch time





Conclussion The Terminator was'nt to bad to carry as a 10lb bush gun for nearly 5 hours & at least ya not guna be under powered
